The ideal candidate will be a forward and innovative thinker, an excellent communicator, with passion for the IPTV/OTT revolution. You will be part of a highly collaborative development process and will be writing leading-edge code.

The Role

• Build reusable Android components to interface with our back-end platform
• Implement user interfaces using the latest Kotlin and Android SDKs
• Support the components in production and ensure their reliability
• Ensure architectural consistency between the multiple components of the platform
• Analyze and optimize the UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance
• Work closely with our product and design teams to build a new and innovative application experience
• Focus on technical leadership, engineering quality, and execution of product development

Basic Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of the Kotlin programming language, Android UI design principles and accessibility best practices
• Experience building complex applications using the Kotlin and Android frameworks
• Experience with multi-threaded programming
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of the best coding practices and standards

Nice to Have

• Experience with Android TV / Fire TV development
• Good understanding of the platform-native UX style and standards

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (Flexible Home-Office)

The Role:

• Conceptualize design ideas using process flows, sitemaps, or low fidelity mock-ups 
• Define goals and clarify handoffs and behaviours in collaboration with product managers and developers to regularly deliver design solutions
• Prepare and communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and stakeholders
• Develop UI mock-ups, workflows, wireframes and prototypes  
• Create original graphic assets (e.g. images, icons, and tables)
• Find creative ways to solve UX and UI challenges

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer of mobile and / or responsive web applications
• Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies  
• Understanding of user-cantered design principles and patterns 
• Knowledge of wireframe and prototyping tools (e.g. Zeplin, InVision, Sympli)
• Knowledge of design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma)
• Appreciation and talent for simple solutions to complex problems

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in designing TV interfaces
• Self-driven and takes initiative to identify and solve problems with actions 
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
